BPW Iceland welcomed over 270 women to the 17th BPW European Conference and 9th Young Symposium in Reykjavík in May 27- 29 2022. The congress was held at Hilton Reykjavík Nordica, located in central Reykjavík overlooking Mount Esja, the city’s main landmark that dominates Reykjavík’s City skyline and provides a stunning backdrop to the capital area.
The theme of the congress was “Equality” and what still needs to be done to move this topic forward. Partaking in a BPW Conference is a unique opportunity to experience how the strength of the BPW network supports women in their career and personal development.

The 9th Young BPW Symposium took place in parallel to the 17th BPW Europe Conference – at the same venue with more workshops and speeches. More than 40 Young BPW members joined to discuss the future of work, equity vs. equality and what we can learn from the Icelandic Women’s Rights movement.
